BFN Seeks Volunteer Ambassadors

Calling all advocates! Are you passionate about food justice, nutrition, and building a stronger community? Berkeley Food Network is looking for enthusiastic individuals like you to join our Volunteer Ambassador Program!

Join us for one of our Volunteer Ambassador Trainings in August and start connecting with your community!

Our Volunteer Ambassador Program aims to build a diverse and engaged community of advocates dedicated to addressing food insecurity locally.  As a BFN Volunteer Ambassador, you’ll play a crucial role in representing our mission, promoting awareness of food insecurity, and empowering individuals to become active participants in the solution with BFN.

BFN Ambassadors:
-Serve as a voice for our mission and initiatives.
-Work at events on-site or in the community, distributing materials and engaging community members.
-Initiate meaningful connections that inspire people to join BFN as volunteers, donors, or stakeholders.
-Provide set-up support for outreach tables and booths.

As a BFN Volunteer Ambassador, you:
-Are eager to educate the community about food insecurity and food assistance.
-Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Have access to personal transportation and a willingness to commute around Northern Alameda County.
-Can commit to participating in 3 events per year.
