Calling all advocates! Are you passionate about food justice, nutrition, and building a stronger community? Berkeley Food Network is looking for enthusiastic individuals like you to join our Volunteer Ambassador Program!
Our Volunteer Ambassador Program aims to build a diverse and engaged community of advocates dedicated to addressing food insecurity locally. As a BFN Volunteer Ambassador, you’ll play a crucial role in representing our mission, promoting awareness of food insecurity, and empowering individuals to become active participants in the solution with BFN.
BFN Ambassadors:
-Serve as a voice for our mission and initiatives.
-Work at events on-site or in the community, distributing materials and engaging community members.
-Initiate meaningful connections that inspire people to join BFN as volunteers, donors, or stakeholders.
-Provide set-up support for outreach tables and booths.
As a BFN Volunteer Ambassador, you:
-Are eager to educate the community about food insecurity and food assistance.
-Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Have access to personal transportation and a willingness to commute around Northern Alameda County.
-Can commit to participating in 3 events per year.
